upon arriving in Nanjing, dad's friend fetched us to the hotel, and hosted a dinner for us with a few other biz friends at a food hotel, which is a hotel dat is solely for restaurants and banquets.

surprisingly nice table arrangement they have, as though its for a wedding dinner! but its astonishing how everytime China bosses host a dinner, there will always be at least 10 main dishes, not including appetisers! they really can eat! shall not comment on the food this time, but most of them r quite nice, and not easy to find in SG.

dried salted fish, a common appetiser for them.

braised mushrooms with gingko nuts

red dates stuffed with lotus seeds

processed donkey meat

Nanjing salted duck (咸水鸭)

Dried scallop with fried vermicelli (冬粉炒干贝)

Steamed Changjiang white fish (蒸长江白鱼)

Egg custard in pumpkin (南瓜蒸蛋)

Beancurd and clam soup (豆腐海蚌汤)

Water celery (水芹)

River eel (河鳝)

Yellow eel (黄鳝)

mixed seafood (虾仁,尤鱼,白果)

Stir-fried beef with mushrooms (牛柳炒菇)

puffer fish (河豚鱼)

Vegetable buns (煎菜包)
